^^^^^^-This was the result of a title vacancy after Erik Carlson abruptly left the company. A round-robin tournament was set up to crown a new champion with Steve Austin and Dan Severn reaching the finals. However, Scott Steiner, who had won a four-way number-one contenders match earlier in the night, attacked Severn prior to the match and took his place against Austin.
^^^^^-This was a triple threat match also involving then-champion Mr. Perfect. Austin was able to defeat Douglas to win the title.

^^^-This was a rematch after the title was held up due to a controversial finish in a match between Kristopherson and Brandi days earlier.

^-This was a tournament final to crown the very first IPWA World Champion. Fans had voted on the outcome of every tournament match.

Commissioner Mike Rotundo named Bam Bam Bigelow as his replacement in a ladder match with Canterbury.
